Miss. EATON

Important information:Missions building will begin on Friday October 11th! Students will be placed into groups on Thursday to plan with their group their own design. They will not copy one of the Spanish missions, but they will use the same type of designs the Spanish did.
  • If you would like to bring in any items to help with mission building, that would be wonderful. Items include popsicle sticks, hot glue gun sticks, cardboard, small animals, hay, mission bells, tiny people, etc.
 Other information:
  • Make sure to check their blue folder everyday, some days they might have important information for you.
  • Please make sure students are reading, as they are required each quarter to have 5 AR points. October 18th is the last day for quarter 1.
  • Please make sure to work on those multiplication flashcards with your students.  Even working on it for 5 minutes will help them a lot!
  • Our secret code is "Missions". Have your kid whisper this to me by TUESDAY for 2 extra DoJo points!
  • Some students will have an opportunity to fix their math homework if they got less than a C. Please check for the 'red smiley face' stamp on their homework so that they may fix the problems they missed and return it back the next day.

***Mark your calendar we will be going to San Luis Obispo on January 24th, and Columbia February 25th (more details to come)***

Let's make this a great year!!!

Parent Teacher Conferences!!

Parent teach conferences will be held on October 31st-November 1st. The school will send a link for you to sign up on those days. But, on Wednesday October 30th, there is an option for you to sign up for any of these times (red: taken; green: available). Please email me if you would like one of these slots. I will do a first come first serve for Wednesday sign ups. Please email me if none of these three days work for your schedule and we can figure out a better day. Thank you and I look forward to meeting with all of you!

My deep hope is that our wonder would help us grow in our knowledge of God, and His creation.

About Miss. Eaton

Welcome to our class page, I am so excited to have your child in my classroom this year! I went to COS, then transferred to The Master's University where I received my BA in Liberal studies. This will be my first-year teaching at CVC, and I am already feeling at home with this amazing group! What a blessing and privilege to be able to have conversations about God, and faith in a classroom. God put me in this position, and I would not want to do anything else in life then teach, encourage, and guide young minds.
